Mark your Calendar! The legends of the Sport are gathering for the 2nd Fly Fishing & Rod Building Fair @ Renzetti’s on Dec 5 and 6, 2008.

Once again, many of the legends of the sport of fly-fishing will come together with some of the finest rod builders at the 2nd Fly-Fishing Fair in Titusville, Florida on Saturday, December 6, 2008. Once again, the event, organized by Renzetti, Inc., the leading manufacturer of fly tying and rod lathe equipment, and sponsored by Temple Fork Rods, Hells Bay Boatworks,TDC and Custom Gheenoe, will focus primarily on education.

Everyone will be able to participate in workshops for fly tying and rod building as well as attend seminars in casting techniques, equipment and rigging, factory tours among others. Each seminar will be taught by some of the finest instructors and leading experts in the field.

Representatives from various fishing destinations, artists will also be on hand along with some of the finest flats skiff builders in the world, including Brevard County locals like Hell's Bay, Vector Works and Custom Gheenoe.

Special guests and instructors include Lefty Kreh with Temple Fork Outfitters, Bob Clouser, Bob Popovics, Pat Ehlers, Jon Cave, Tom Kirkman, Jim Uptown, Jay Murakoshi, Ken Hanley and many others. These icons are gathering at this unique event to help educate people about the beauty, passion and fun of fly-fishing, the art of fly tying and the intricacy and satisfaction of rod building. So whether you're curious about the sport or a seasoned veteran, come join us for this exciting event!

New to this year’s event, you’ll have a unique opportunity to learn from three of the sport’s best-known stars by attending a one-day fly-fishing clinic during the day on Friday December 5. Bob Clouser, Bob Popovics and Jon Cave will conduct this clinic for a lucky few. This seminar is limited to only 15 participants and it will fill quickly so call now to reserve your spot for a truly special opportunity.

The evening of the 5th, a fundraising cocktail party, hosted by Lily and Andy Renzetti, will be held to benefit Casting for Recovery and the Kid's Fishing Clinic at Port Canaveral. Come and join Lily and Andy and a few of the legends of the sport for this special evening. Tickets for this night will be limited, so please plan ahead to attend this special event and make your reservations early.
The 2006 Fly Fishing and Rod Building Fair was unforgettable and the 2nd event promises to measure up, so make plans to talk with and learn from some of the most legendary figures in the sport, while visiting and exploring magnificent Brevard County.
