The rolling carriage is a must for precision power wrapping. Since the introduction of the Craftsman Rod Lathe we offer 2 rolling carriages. These Rolling Carriages while they may look alike, they use different components and are designed to work with specific bed design.
The RC3200, our original, is designed for the CL1000 Basic Lathe. This Carriage can be installed or removed in only a few seconds, which is ideal when going from one wrap to another without removing any of the other attachments on the lathe. When the carriage is clamped on the bed, it is very sturdy and can be infinitely moved along the bed in either direction at any speed necessary when wrapping.
The RC3300 is designed for the CL3000 Craftsman Rod Lathe. This Carriage is designed to be used with the CL3000 beds and it travels under the bed which eliminate switching it between the Rod Support. You must use the TF8800 8-Spool Thread Feed.
The carriage glides on three rollers and is extremely smooth, it will accept the thread feed unit and comes with complete instructions. Some assembly required. Bed ext. not included. Renzetti Rolling carriage rollers are not compatible with other manufacturers rollers.
